The Bush Fire Danger Period has begun.
Burning off?
Residents and landholders are reminded of the requirement to notify fire agencies before lighting hazard reductions and pile burns. Our Rural Fire Service (RFS) online portal provides you with the ability to notify fire services quickly and easily when planning to use fire on your property.
Using your mobile phone, tablet or computer, you can lodge your notification of a planned hazard reduction or burn off 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Go to www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/notify, and help prevent unnecessary emergency calls.
Reminder, you also have an obligation to inform your neighbours of your intention to burn.
