About Us

Wildcare was founded by a dedicated group of likeminded native-wildlife rescue and care volunteers, and became an incorporated association under NSW law as Wildcare Queanbeyan Inc, on 30 September 1992.

Our volunteers form one of the oldest, continuously operating, native-wildlife rescue and rehabilitation groups in New South Wales.

Wildcare is licenced (and regulated) by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service to rescue and rehabilitate injured and sick native wildlife over 22,000 square kilometres of south-eastern NSW.

We work closely with neighbouring wildlife rescue and rehabilitation groups in NSW and with our ACT equivalent.
